After successful completion of Years 10 and 11, the students will further specialise their education by se-lection 3-4 A-Level subjects to study, over a two year period. The students will be given support and advice on which subjects to choose as this will decide their future path at university and possibly their future career.

The subjects currently offered at the school include:

  • English Literature
  • Mathematics
  • Biology
  • Chemistry
  • Physics
  • Geography
  • History
  • Art and Design
  • Music
  • Design & Technology
  • Global Perspectives
  • Business

Each subject is allocated 5 lessons per week, but the students will also have a number of study periods at school in which they are expected to carry out research and outside reading of each of their subjects. Students get career guidance throughout the two-year programme and support in applying to universities.

Year 12 and 13 students also continue to take part in P.E. lessons and are encouraged to become school leaders in the form of Head girl/boy and school prefects.

International Recognition

A-Levels are recognised by universities worldwide, including USA, UK, Australia, France, Switzerland, India, Singapore, New Zealand and more.

In some cases, a student joining a US university can advance directly into the second year of a 4 year study program due to the level of academic excellence that A-Levels provide.
