What is FOBISIA (Federation of British International Schools in Asia)?
To many parents and students, FOBISIA means sport. Indeed, attending a FOBISIA games is often one of the highlights of a student’s school career, but today FOBISIA is much more than this.
FOBISIA was established over 30 years ago to facilitate and encourage co-operation between like minded schools in the region, and to provide a forum for Heads of FOBISIA schools to provide mutual support and share ideas. It started with just 6 schools and has grown steadily to represent over 60 schools today.
FOBISIA organises a huge number of student events and competitions each year, both face to face (such as the sports competitions and music festivals) and online (such as the language and computer coding competitions).
FOBISIA also organises a range of events to support teacher and leadership development, including an annual leadership conference, Heads’ meetings and JAWs (Job Alike Workshops).
